Best White Label Email Marketing Platform in 2026: GoHighLevel vs ActiveCampaign and Mailchimp

In short

A ranked guide to the best white label email marketing platform, comparing ten tools on price, automation depth and true resale, with GoHighLevel first and an honest best pick for every other need.

The request I keep getting from agency owners sounds simple. They want to send email under their own brand and resell it to clients. Then I go to build it, and I hit the same wall. Most email tools cannot be rebranded or resold at all.

So the search for a white label email marketing platform starts hopeful and shrinks fast. You can swap the logo on a few tools. You cannot resell most of them as your own product. That gap once cost me two days, on a tool I had already promised a client.

Here is the short version. A true white label email marketing platform lets you put your logo on it, set your own prices, and bill clients through it. Very few email tools do all three. GoHighLevel does, on its $497 plan.

This guide ranks ten platforms on the same four things. Feature coverage. Automation depth. Total cost as your lists grow. And whether you can actually resell it under your brand. GoHighLevel sits at number one. Every rival still earns an honest best-for. Prices are the ones each company publishes, checked in September 2026.

What decides which email platform you pick

Before I rank anything, here is what I score. Four things settle it for me.

  1. Feature coverage. Does email sit next to the CRM and SMS, or stand alone?
  2. Automation depth. Can a click, a booking or a purchase trigger the next message on its own?
  3. Total cost as lists grow. The sticker price is not the bill you pay at 20,000 contacts.
  4. True resale. Can you rebrand it, price it, and bill clients through it?

That last one thins the field fast. Most email tools fail it outright.

What is a white label email marketing platform?

A white label email marketing platform is email software you can rebrand as your own and resell. You put your logo on it. You set the prices. Your clients log in and never see the original vendor.

People mix up two levels here. One is cosmetic. You change the logo and the login colour, but the tool is still theirs. The other is full resale. You own the pricing, the billing and the client relationship. Only the second level lets you build recurring income.

Keep that split in mind as you read. Plenty of tools claim to be white-label. Almost none of the pure email tools let you truly resell.

The 10 best white label email marketing platforms, ranked

1. GoHighLevel — email that rides the same workflow as SMS, calls and pipelines

GoHighLevel is where I put clients who want email and resale in one place. Email is not a bolt-on here. It sits inside the same workflow builder as SMS, calls and pipeline stages.

You build the email under Marketing, then drop it into a workflow under Automation. A form fill, a booking, a missed call or a paid invoice can each fire the next email on its own. No connector sits in the middle.

Here is the flow I set up most. A lead fills a form. The contact is tagged and sent an email and a text at once. If they book, the sequence stops. If they go quiet for three days, a follow-up email goes out. All of it reads from one contact record.

GoHighLevel costs $97, $297 or $497 a month. The email tools are the same on every plan. The $497 SaaS plan is the one that matters here. It lets you rebrand the whole platform, email included, set your own prices, and bill clients through it.

Why it usually works out cheaper

GoHighLevel is not the cheapest email tool on its own. A basic newsletter app beats its $97 on paper. The saving shows up when you count the bills it removes.

On one account I rebuilt in July, six separate tools cost more than $250 a month combined. One plan covered the same jobs. At 20,000 contacts, a standalone email tool alone can pass $375 a month. The plan price does not climb with your list the same way.

What the same subscription also covers

The price replaces a stack, not one app. One GoHighLevel subscription includes:

  • A CRM and sales pipelines
  • Funnels, websites and forms
  • Calendars and online booking
  • SMS and voice, plus missed-call text-back
  • Database reactivation campaigns
  • Review and reputation automation
  • White-label resale on the $497 plan

On the $297 and $497 plans, you manage every client in one login.

2. ActiveCampaign — the deepest email automation logic

ActiveCampaign has the automation brain I trust most for pure email. Its builder branches on almost anything a contact does. Opens, clicks, page visits, custom fields — you route people down different paths with fine control.

Prices, billed annually, run $15 (Starter), $49 (Plus), $79 (Pro) and $145 (Enterprise). Those are the entry numbers. They climb with your contact count. At 10,000 contacts the Pro plan sits near $375 a month.

On white-label, it half-qualifies. You can rebrand it, but only on the Enterprise plan, and that is a custom quote. So resale exists. It just hides behind a sales call and a bigger bill. I moved a coaching client here in 2024 for exactly one reason: their funnels lived elsewhere, and they only needed the email brain.

3. Mailchimp — the easiest first list

Mailchimp is the easiest place to start a first list. The editor is friendly. The templates are done for you. Someone who has never sent a campaign can send one here in an afternoon.

Pricing starts low and rises with contacts. Essentials begins at $13 a month for 500 contacts. Standard, which adds multi-step automation, starts at $20. At 10,000 contacts you are near $135 a month on Standard.

White-label is not on the menu. You cannot resell Mailchimp as your own product. Its agency program lets you manage client accounts, yet each client still sees the Mailchimp brand. Every time I have inherited a Mailchimp account, the automations were thinner than the client remembered building.

4. Klaviyo — ecommerce email built on store data

Klaviyo is the one I reach for on pure ecommerce email. It reads your store data — products viewed, carts left, orders placed — and turns it into email and SMS that match what someone actually did.

The Email plan starts free up to 250 profiles, then $20 a month at 500. It scales on active profiles. At 20,000 profiles you are near $375 a month. Email plus SMS starts at $35.

This is the honest exception in the whole list. Run a Shopify or WooCommerce store where email is your main revenue channel, and Klaviyo will out-earn a general tool. It is not white-label, though. You cannot rebrand it or resell it to clients under your name. I sent a client back to Klaviyo last year after we tried to force ecommerce flows into a general tool and lost sales doing it.

5. ConvertKit (Kit) — for creators selling to an audience

Kit, once called ConvertKit, is built for creators who sell to an audience. Think writers, course sellers, newsletter operators. Tagging is simple and the sign-up forms stay clean.

The Creator plan is $39 a month for 1,000 subscribers, or $33 billed annually. It rises to $79 at 5,000 and $139 at 10,000. A free tier covers small lists.

It does one job well and gets out of your way. There is no white-label and no resale, because a creator does not need them. For an agency, though, Kit gives you nothing to sell under your own brand. I keep my own newsletter on a creator-style tool for the same reason: I want writing, not a dashboard.

6. Brevo — email and SMS on a tight budget

Brevo, formerly Sendinblue, pairs email and SMS at a low starting price. It bills by emails sent, not by contacts held. That suits a big list you email rarely.

The free plan sends 300 emails a day. Starter begins at $9 a month for 5,000 emails. Business, with automation and A/B testing, starts at $18. SMS is bought in credits on top.

For a lean team watching every dollar, Brevo stretches further than most. Resale is not its game. The core plans are not white-label, so you buy it to use, not to rebrand and sell. I have parked low-volume, high-contact lists here more than once to dodge per-contact pricing.

7. Drip — ecommerce segmentation, lighter than Klaviyo

Drip lives and breathes ecommerce segmentation. It slices buyers by behaviour and lifetime value, then sends flows off the back of that.

Pricing is contact-based and clean. It starts at $39 a month for up to 2,500 contacts, then $89 at 5,000, and climbs from there. Every feature is unlocked from the first tier.

Feel that Klaviyo is too heavy, but still want store-aware email? Drip is the lighter pick. It is a tool to use, with no white-label plan for agencies. I trialled it against Klaviyo on a small store in 2023. The segmentation ran close and the bill came in lower.

8. MailerLite — best value for simple newsletters

MailerLite is my value pick for simple newsletters. It is cheap, quick to learn, and the editor stays quiet. For a small list and a weekly send, it is hard to beat on price.

The Growing Business plan starts at $10 a month for 500 subscribers. Advanced, with more automation, starts at $20. A free plan covers up to 500 subscribers and 12,000 emails a month.

MailerLite is honest about its limit. It has no white-label version. You can manage several client accounts from one login and switch between them in two clicks. But each client still sees the MailerLite brand, so you cannot sell it as yours. I have set it up for two local clients who send one email a month and never needed more.

9. Customer.io — product-led, event-based messaging

Customer.io is built for product-led messaging. Run an app or a SaaS, and it fires email and push off real user events. A feature used. A plan upgraded. A trial about to end.

It starts higher than the rest. The Essentials plan is $100 a month for 5,000 profiles and up to a million emails. It is priced for teams sending event-driven messages at volume.

This is a developer's tool as much as a marketer's. It expects data piped in from your product. There is no white-label resale, so an agency cannot rebrand it for clients. The one time I scoped it for a client, the setup needed their engineer in the room, not just me.

10. Omnisend — ecommerce automation templates

Omnisend rounds out the list with ready-made ecommerce automation templates. Cart recovery, welcome flows, order follow-ups — they ship pre-built, so a store can switch them on fast.

The Standard plan starts at $16 a month for 500 contacts. Pro starts at $59 and bundles SMS credits equal to your bill. A free plan covers a tiny list.

For a store that wants ecommerce email working this week without a builder, Omnisend earns its place. Like the others here, it is not white-label. You use it; you do not resell it. I have flipped on its abandoned-cart template for a client and watched the first recovery email go out inside the hour.

So which one should you pick?

Building deep email logic and nothing else? ActiveCampaign wins.

Sending your very first campaign? Mailchimp gets you live today.

Email is your store's main revenue channel? Klaviyo will out-earn a general tool.

Writing to an audience you sell to? Kit stays quiet and does the job.

Every dollar counts? MailerLite and Brevo stretch furthest.

But if you want to resell email under your own brand, with the CRM, funnels and SMS beside it, pick GoHighLevel. That is the case it is built for. It is also the case most agencies I work with are actually in.

Why can GoHighLevel run email inside the same workflow?

The answer is one shared contact record. That is a single page holding everything about one person. The CRM, the calendar, the SMS tool and the email tool all read from and write to that same page.

Most email stacks are separate apps glued together. Your booking tool, your CRM and your email app each keep their own copy of the contact. To make them act as one, you add a connector like Zapier between them. Every hop is a place data goes missing.

GoHighLevel removes the hops. Because email shares the same record as everything else, an event in one tool is visible to all of them at once. Look at a booking follow-up:

  • Trigger: someone books a call on your calendar.
  • Action: they drop into an email sequence and get a reminder text.
  • Result: if they no-show, a win-back email fires on its own, logged on the one record.

With separate tools, that flow needs the calendar, the email app and a connector wired by hand. Here there is nothing to connect. That is why one plan can white-label and run the whole thing.

Want the step-by-step of building these sequences? I wrote that up in how an email marketing automation agency builds sequences in GoHighLevel. And if you want to white-label more than email, the wider best white label software as a service roundup covers the CRM, funnels and the rest as your own product.

Who sets it up: the platform vs the service

Here is the part people mix up, so let me be plain.

GoHighLevel is the platform. You subscribe to HighLevel yourself at $97, $297 or $497 a month. You can start there and build every email sequence on your own.

GHL Spark is not HighLevel. We do not resell the subscription, and we do not sell you a CRM. What we do is the build. We set up your email and SMS sequences, your segments, and the triggers that fire them. Then we hand it over working.

  • $28 an hour, pay as you go, for a single job with hours quoted up front.
  • $995 one-time, a complete build, done once and yours to keep.
  • $1,495 a month, an ongoing build team if you ship campaigns non-stop.

The pricing page shows what each option covers. A short free consultation is enough to tell which one fits.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best white label email marketing platform in 2026?
GoHighLevel is the best white label email marketing platform for most agencies in 2026. Its $497 SaaS plan lets you rebrand the whole platform, email included, set your own prices, and bill clients through it. Most other email tools cannot be resold under your brand at all.
Which email marketing tools are actually white-label?
Very few are truly white-label. GoHighLevel is, on its $497 plan, and ActiveCampaign offers rebranding only on its custom-priced Enterprise plan. Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Kit, Brevo, Drip, MailerLite, Customer.io and Omnisend cannot be resold under your own brand.
Is GoHighLevel a white label digital marketing platform?
Yes. GoHighLevel is a white label digital marketing platform, not only an email tool. On the $497 plan you can resell the CRM, funnels, calendars, SMS and email as your own software. Email runs inside the same workflows as the rest.
What is the cheapest white label marketing automation software?
For true resale, GoHighLevel's $497 plan is the entry point for white label marketing automation software you can rebrand and sell. Cheaper email tools like MailerLite (from $10) and Brevo (from $9) are not white-label, so you can use them but not resell them.
Can I resell Mailchimp or Klaviyo under my own brand?
No, you cannot resell Mailchimp or Klaviyo under your own brand. Both let you manage client accounts, but clients still see the original brand. To resell email as your own product, you need a platform like GoHighLevel with a true white-label plan.
How much does it cost to have GHL Spark set up my email platform?
GHL Spark builds your GoHighLevel setup at $28 an hour pay as you go, $995 for a one-time complete build, or $1,495 a month for an ongoing build team. You subscribe to HighLevel yourself at $97, $297 or $497. We configure the account; we do not resell the subscription.
