In short

White label software as a service lets you sell software under your own brand, so clients pay you every month. GoHighLevel ranks first because its SaaS mode gives you your own brand, your own prices, automatic billing and a new client account set up the moment someone pays, and it can add a markup to texts and emails. Vendasta is best for reselling a large marketplace of products, SuiteDash for low-cost client portals, Simvoly for white label websites, SharpSpring for agency marketing automation, and Zoho for low per-user cost with heavier setup. Ontraport, Act-On, Kartra and Marketing 360 suit narrower cases. Always work out your margin before you pick a platform.

Key takeaways

  • White label means the software carries your brand, not the maker's. SaaS means clients pay a monthly subscription to use it.
  • Check four things: can you set your own prices, does billing run automatically, does a new account set itself up, and can you mark up usage?
  • GoHighLevel's SaaS mode does all four on the $497 Agency Pro plan, which is why it ranks first.
  • Low starting prices can hide minimum spends, per-user fees or annual contracts. Price the platform at 20 or 50 clients, not at one.
  • Your real product is the working system inside the software, not the logo on the login page.

Some links to tools we rate — including HighLevel — are affiliate links. If you start a trial through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. We only recommend tools we would set up for our own clients.

Jordan runs a small marketing agency with 12 clients, mostly roofing and HVAC companies. (Jordan is an example.)

Every month, he sells hours. When his team is busy, he earns more. When a client leaves, income drops. He wants something steadier: software that clients pay for every month, under his brand.

That is what white label software as a service is. "White label" means the software shows your brand, not the maker's. "SaaS" (software as a service) means clients pay a monthly subscription to use it online.

The problem is that building software costs a fortune. And many "white label" tools only let you change the logo. You still cannot set your own prices, bill clients automatically or make a margin.

This guide ranks ten white label platforms on the things that decide whether Jordan can build a real business. Prices are the ones each company publishes, checked in September 2026. Where a company only gives prices on a sales call, we say so.

How were these platforms ranked?

We used the same four questions for every platform.

1. Your brand. Can clients log in on your web address, with your logo, and never see the maker's name?

2. Your prices and billing. Can you set your own price and charge clients automatically?

3. Automatic setup. When a client pays, does their account set itself up, or does someone build it by hand?

4. Margin as you grow. What does the platform cost at 20 or 50 clients? Can you earn a markup on usage, such as text messages?

1. GoHighLevel — true SaaS mode: your brand, your prices, your billing

GoHighLevel is a full marketing and sales platform that you can sell as your own. Its SaaS mode, on the Agency Pro plan, answers all four questions with a yes.

Why can it do this so well?

Here is the technical reason, in simple words.

In SaaS mode, payment, account setup and billing are connected. When a client pays through your checkout, three things happen in the same moment:

  1. Trigger: the payment succeeds in Stripe, the payment tool you connect.
  2. Action: GoHighLevel creates a new client account and loads your ready-made system into it. That ready-made system is called a snapshot, a saved copy of pages, calendars and automations.
  3. Result: the client logs in on your web address and finds a working system, with no manual setup by your team.

Usage is connected too. Each client account has a wallet, a small prepaid balance. When a client sends a text or email, the cost comes out of their wallet at your price. So you can earn a margin on every message, not just the monthly fee.

Most other tools on this list stop at the logo. They do not connect payment to automatic setup and marked-up usage. That connection is what turns a branded tool into a business.

How would Jordan set it up?

The funnel: a place to buy.

  1. Build a pricing page in Sites → Funnels with three plans, for example $149, $299 and $499 a month.
  2. Connect a dedicated Stripe account in the SaaS Configurator.
  3. Create each plan in the Configurator and link it to your snapshot.

The automation: setup and billing without you.

  1. Build a roofing system in a template account: pipeline, booking calendar, missed-call text-back and review requests.
  2. Save it as a snapshot and attach it to your plans.
  3. Turn on rebilling for texts and emails, and set your markup.
  4. Add your own web address and logo in agency settings.

The follow-up: keep clients paying.

  1. Send new clients a welcome series with a short video and a setup call link.
  2. Help each client switch on one quick win in week one, such as missed-call text-back.
  3. Turn on Stripe's failed-payment emails, and add your own reminder text.

What changed for Jordan: he moves his 12 clients onto his branded software at $299 a month. That is $3,588 a month of subscription revenue, against a $497 platform fee, plus a small margin on every text.

Why it usually works out cheaper

The Agency Pro plan is $497 a month. That looks high next to SuiteDash at $19. But it includes unlimited client accounts, the full CRM, funnels, booking, texting, email and AI tools. Other platforms often charge per user or per client, or need extra tools for texting and pages. At 20 or 50 clients, GoHighLevel usually has the lowest cost per client.

What the same subscription also covers

  • The full platform to resell: CRM, funnels, calendars, email and SMS, AI and reputation tools
  • Rebilling with your own markup
  • Your own domain on every login
  • A branded mobile app, as a paid add-on
  • Snapshots to copy a full system into every new client

Where it stops: it takes real work to set up SaaS mode, the snapshot and billing well. The branded mobile app costs extra.

2. Vendasta — best marketplace of products to resell

Vendasta gives you a big marketplace of software and services to resell under your brand, from listings to websites to reviews.

Strongest at: a wide catalogue in one place, with a branded client portal on higher plans.

Where it stops: there is no subscription fee, but each plan has a minimum monthly spend of $99, $499 or $999. Full white label branding starts on the higher plans. Your margin depends on the wholesale prices of each product.

Best for: agencies that want to sell many different products, not one core system.

3. SuiteDash — best low-cost client portal

SuiteDash is an all-in-one business portal: CRM, projects, invoices, files and a client portal, all with your branding.

Strongest at: a very low price with strong white labeling on every plan, including a custom branded mobile app. Plans are $19, $49 and $99 a month.

Where it stops: marketing tools, such as texting, funnels and follow-up automation, are lighter than GoHighLevel's. There is no SaaS mode for automatic client billing and setup in the same way.

Best for: service businesses where projects and client portals matter most.

4. Ontraport — best for one complex business

Ontraport has deep marketing automation and strong reporting for a single business.

Strongest at: detailed automation and customer tracking for one company with complex offers.

Where it stops: it is not designed for reselling to many clients under your brand. Prices are not clearly shown on its pricing page. Third-party listings show plans from about $79 a month.

Best for: a business automating its own sales, not an agency reselling software.

5. Zoho — lowest cost per user, heavier setup

Zoho offers a huge family of business apps, including a strong CRM, at a low price per user.

Strongest at: low cost. Zoho CRM starts at about $14 per user a month on annual billing, and there is a free plan for three users.

Where it stops: real rebranding runs through Zoho's developer and partner programs, not a simple switch. As a normal reseller, you still sell Zoho's brand. Setup takes more technical work.

Best for: agencies with technical skills that want low per-user costs.

6. Simvoly — best white label website builder

Simvoly is a website and funnel builder with dedicated white label plans.

Strongest at: selling websites under your brand. White label plans are $69, $149 and $497 a month on monthly billing.

Where it stops: it is mainly a website builder, not a full CRM with texting and pipelines. Email marketing is a paid add-on.

Best for: web design agencies that mainly sell websites.

7. Kartra — courses and funnels, not true white label

Kartra combines funnels, email, memberships and checkout for people selling their own courses.

Strongest at: delivering courses and running launches for your own business. Plans run from $59 to $549 a month.

Where it stops: to be honest, it is not a true white label reseller product. You can use your own domain, but you cannot resell Kartra under your brand to many clients.

Best for: course creators who want one tool for their own business.

8. SharpSpring — agency marketing automation

SharpSpring, now part of Constant Contact, built its name on marketing automation for agencies.

Strongest at: email automation, lead scoring and a CRM, with agency features such as white labeling and multi-client management.

Where it stops: prices are quote only. Third-party reports often mention around $449 a month and up. It has no texting-first tools like missed-call text-back.

Best for: agencies focused on email marketing automation for B2B clients.

9. Act-On — marketing automation for larger teams

Act-On is a mature marketing automation platform for bigger marketing teams.

Strongest at: email marketing, segmentation and reporting. It prices by active contacts, the people you actually email.

Where it stops: the Professional plan starts at $900 a month with an annual contract. It is not built as a resell-under-your-brand product for small businesses.

Best for: larger companies and agencies serving mid-sized B2B clients.

10. Marketing 360 — software plus done-for-you help

Marketing 360 bundles its software with a marketing expert who helps run it.

Strongest at: clients who want help, not just software.

Where it stops: prices are quote only, and its terms include a minimum contract period. You trade clear pricing for hands-on service.

Best for: businesses that want software and done-for-you marketing from one supplier.

Where does the margin really come from?

Many people think the margin is simple: charge $299, pay the platform less. It is more than that.

Subscription margin. Your price minus the platform cost per client. With a fixed fee and unlimited clients, this margin grows as you add clients.

Usage margin. A markup on texts, calls and emails, where the platform allows it.

Setup fees. A one-time fee to set up each new client, if your offer includes help.

The traps that eat margin:

  • Minimum spends you must hit each month, even with few clients.
  • Per-user or per-client fees that grow with every sale.
  • Heavy usage from one client, if texts are not marked up.
  • Support time. If every client needs an hour a week, your software business becomes a service business again.
  • Churn. Clients who never set anything up leave in month two.

The best protection is a strong snapshot. When the system works on day one, clients stay.

So which one?

  • If you want to resell many different products from one catalogue, choose Vendasta.
  • If you need a cheap, branded client portal for projects and invoices, choose SuiteDash.
  • If you mainly sell websites, choose Simvoly.
  • If you are technical and want the lowest per-user cost, look at Zoho.
  • If you run B2B email marketing for larger clients, look at SharpSpring or Act-On.
  • If you want your own brand, your own prices, automatic billing and a full marketing system for small businesses, choose GoHighLevel.

Who sets this up for you?

GoHighLevel is the platform, and you subscribe to it directly from HighLevel. GHL Spark is not HighLevel. We do not resell the subscription or sell a CRM. You can start a free HighLevel trial and set up SaaS mode yourself.

What we do is the build. We set up SaaS mode, your plans and pricing page, rebilling, your white label domain, the branded app, and the snapshot that loads into every new client automatically. Then we test it end to end.

  • $28/hour, pay as you go, for a specific job with the hours estimated up front.
  • $995 one-time, the complete build, done once and yours to keep.
  • $1,495/month, an ongoing build team if you are shipping continuously.

Frequently asked questions

What is white label software as a service?
It is software made by one company that another business sells under its own brand. The customer sees your name, logo and web address, and pays you a monthly subscription. The maker runs the servers and updates in the background.
What is the best white label CRM system?
For agencies that want to sell a CRM to many small businesses, GoHighLevel is the most complete option, because it includes the CRM, pipelines, booking, texting, email and automatic billing. For a simple branded client portal on a small budget, SuiteDash is a good alternative.
How much can I charge for white label software?
Many agencies charge between $97 and $497 a month per client, depending on the niche and how much is set up for them. Price against the value of the working system, not against what the platform costs you. Always check your margin at realistic usage.
Is white label software legal to resell?
Yes, when the maker offers a white label or reseller program and you follow its terms. Read the terms for branding rules, support duties and what you can say about the product.
Do I need to handle customer support?
Usually yes. With most white label platforms, your clients contact you, not the maker. Plan how you will answer questions and set clear support hours from the start.
Does white label IT support work the same way?
Similar idea, different product. White label IT support means another company does technical support work under your brand. White label software means you resell a product. Some agencies combine both, selling software plus managed support.
